CostSharing is the idea that one may share his ISP fees with a select few neighbors, charging them no more than their fair share (i.e., no profiting), in order to purchase more bandwidth than they would be able to afford individually. At least 90% of the time, any such arrangement would violate the ISP's AcceptableUseAgreement, under the "no reselling" clause. There are mixed feelings among the group as to whether or not we'll be able to convince anybody that this is a good idea, and to make it "legal". On the other hand, it's probably already happening.
