 * 100mW EIRP for 802.11b
   - Ireland allows commercial operations once you apply for a basic data telecoms licence which costs Euros 2500.  Regulated by ODTR.  

 * 802.11a is unknown and may have some problems gaining certification due to conflict with       HiperLan. 

 * HiperLan allows output upto 1watt in certain frequencies.
