> '''Agenda''' * Meet at NodeFreshPot at 1pm * Get started across the street at 1:15pm. * Replace the non-functioning Cisco APs on the Mississippi Ballroom roof with two shiney new NanoStation2's. '''Notes''' * Chris, Russell and Troy stayed safely inside, while Michael, Sara and John climbed up on the roof. * Things went unusually smoothly. The Ciscos were removed, cables checked and fixed, NanoStation2's were plugged in and configured. * Later on, Russell took the Cisco-connected gear apart. It appears the failure in the SE corner was due to a bad cable connection (at the splice?) and the failure at the NW corner was due to a leaking enclosure (was rather damp inside). The Ciscos themselves look fine. I was able to log in to them. * Also later on, Russell upgraded the firmware on the new NanoStation2's and set up some logging on cacti. ---- [CategoryMeetingNotes]
