The WirelessCommons was started by AdamShand, BrucePotter, PaulHolman and CoryDoctorow and is primarily defined by their [[http://adam.nz/wireless_commons/|manifesto]] which was released to the public in December of 2002.

Their goals are still being decided and defined but documenting how to start a community wireless network as well as attempting to define exactly what a community wireless network is, are probably amoung them.  -- AdamShand
