Last year, power was actually available despite the same warning having been given to us in advance; hopefully that will be the case once again, this year. I'll have my mobile AP setup with me, and it should work fine if there's juice available to power it. With that said, wifi functionality is usually extremely poor at events like this, due to the presence of thousands of devices all attempting to work simultaneously in a contained space with a limited number of channels, so it is generally best to plan on not having reliable connectivity at all. So it turned out that power was actually available in the booth on Wednesday; also, 3G/4G services were available but wifi was completely nonfunctional. On Thursday, I will bring the proper equipment and cables to make wired connectivity available. (- KeeganQuinn)
