Overview
A network in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood of North Portland has been experimenting with various implementations of ad-hoc routing protocols. 2 Roofnet nodes are still in operation, but the rest of the network has since converted over to OLSR. If you would like to join the network, install OLSR on your laptop/device using the configuration file shown below.
AaronBaer and JasonMcArthur are currently hosting nodes.
Nodes
Node39542 is the primary gateway.
Node39573 sits out on a garage with a 7dBi omni attached.
Node134 sits 3 hops back inside the network and it's clients rely on the upstream nodes for internet access.
NodeBoston is not in AdHoc. This will allow an alternative to the OLSR network in place.
NodeMashTun is connected to the network over a vpn tunnel.
Equipment
The core network consists primarily of NetgearWgt634u nodes.
