        set syslocation to local value
        set syscontact to "Special Ops Team <ops@personaltelco.net>"
        change "proc mountd" to "proc sshd"
        change "proc ntalkd 4" to "proc gateway"

edit /etc/syslog.conf
        add to the end of the file
        # remote logging
        cron,user,kern,auth,authpriv.*  @log.personaltelco.net
        # all messages of warning priorty and above
        *.warning                       @log.personaltelco.net
