About Me

Hello, I am Dan Rasmussen. My personal website is http://danrasmussen.org/. I'm on Google+, https://www.google.com/profiles/dan.rasmussen and Twitter: @dhrasmus.

Projects

(in no particular order)

  • Make homepage awesome. On both mobile and immobile.
  • Add sponsor links to nodes (ongoing, but started 22. Feb 2012 and essentially finished 28. Feb 2012) - working through NodesByAge

  • Add maps to node pages lacking them (pending determining how that works)
  • Delete 1 obviously obsolete, no longer useful and/or interesting pages from AbandonedPages and OrphanedPages - WARNING: both of these links could take a long time to load!

  • Create pages the wiki says ought to exist, where beneficial. See WantedPages (and be aware that it could take forever to load)

Pages I've Created

  • NeedsUpdate - list of pages containing useful, but partly outdated, information

  • HistoricalInterest - list of interesting historical information, and/or mostly/completely outdated stuff that

  • DanRasmussen/Questions - Personal Telco topics I'm interested in that don't appear to be documented in the written language

I wonder if NeedsUpdate and HistoricalInterest would be good categories for the PTP wiki.

Macro Test Bed

Use macros by surrounding them with double angle brackets.

Macro: RecentChangesList

Macro: RandomPage(integer)

Several random pages:

Macro: RandomPage

Here's a random page: HelpOnNavigation

Macro: FullSearchCached()

Pages in which DanRasmussen comes up in text. Some way to show most recent pages edited by DanRasmussen? That would be more useful.

Macro: RecentChanges()

Takes up a lot of space! Possible to limit output? See RecentChanges

Macro: TitleIndex

an index of all page titles. Disabled on PTP wiki (why?), but embeddable in any page.

Macro: WordIndex

an index of all words in page titles. See WordIndex. Disabled on PTP wiki (why?), but embeddable in any page.

Macro: WantedPages

list links to non-existent pages. See WantedPages

Macro: OrphanedPages

list pages no other page links to. See OrphanedPages

Macro: AbandonedPages

See AbandonedPages Quite a long list! Many PTP wiki pages haven't been edited forever - e.g. historical meeting notes. Wonder what the cut-off date is for this function...
