Field Day
PersonalTelco field days are usually held in the summer, and sometimes in cooperation with SeattleWireless. The idea is to pick a seemingly impossible task (like doing a very very long wirless link) and then get together on one day, pull everything together and then do it. It is a lot of fun, and is a chance to do some real edgy experimentation with wireless networking.
