"Welcome to Personal Telco Radio. The October monthly meeting is happening today, October 31st, at 6 pm eastern time in Portland Oregon.
The Featured presestation is titled Satellite Networks and Services: When Wireless Networking IS Rocket Science.
- Don Hoffman will give an overview of the design and
characteristics of the various satellite network services. Although given the current state of Teledesic, perhaps a bit more of a retrospective. In addition to a general overview, he will focus in detail on the Teledsic (www.teledesic.com) and ICO (www.ico.com) systems, for which he served as principal network architect for several years.
