Agenda

• The purpose of this seminar is to get people from the Mississippi area connected to the network, but anyone is welcome to attend. We'll begin by giving a brief overview of PTP and the grant project, then we'll try to give everyone some one-on-one attention to answer their questions and see about getting them connected. We'll also be giving away gear to make it happen!
• There should be refreshments too.

• TomHiggins did an introduction to PersonalTelco talk and fielded some questions

• DonPark made some remarks and asked questions of attendees

• Food was announced (Pizza from Mississippi Pizza, Coffee from NodeFreshPot, and some Chips and Guac) and people scattered into small discussion groups

• DonPark, TylerBooth, MichaelWeinberg, RussellSenior, and CalebPhillips have a short discussion on building a good repeater to disseminate in MGP area.

• At some point, everyone got their questions answered and they left

• Some portion of the remaining PTP'ers migrated to NodeMashTun to drink beer and banter randomly. Both were successful.

• Random banter highlights:

  • Pushing forward on sticker purchases
  • MGP Debriefing
  • Bad 80's movies and Carnivorous Fish
  • In hindsight, we should have documented people's contact info so we could follow up discussions later on. We will do better at this next time.
