ArborLodge Node 134 - Aaron Baer<
> '''Status:''' <<NodeStatus>> <
> '''Map:''' <<MapLink>> <
><
> My wiki page<
> AaronBaer<
><
> public key: http://aaron.slyness.org/aaron.asc http://aaron.slyness.org/ <
><
> This node provides coverage to the Arbor Lodge Park in North Portland. Local neighborhood coverage comes from a [[Wgt634u]] running openwgt resulting in a Linux based AP and a the 12dBi Omni Directional Antenna. I would say that almost anyone in the area with a chance to get a client antenna on their roof can connect from the surrounding area easily. Signal reception in surrounding houses could also be good. If you are successful email me at aaronb@personaltelco.net Also, though you have to dodge some trees here and there, there is great coverage in the park. Here is a great idea of the coverage. However, I've placed the antenna in a little better vantage point now so it is probably even better now. As of 2006 this network is growing. We are now using olsrd to create a dynamically routed mesh network. <
> Please see ArborLodge documentation for more details. {{http://www.personaltelco.net/albums/Node134-Survey/arbor_1.thumb.jpg}} {{http://www.personaltelco.net/albums/Node134-Survey/arbor.thumb.jpg}} http://www.personaltelco.net/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=Node134-Survey Here is a link to the Park information http://www.parks.ci.portland.or.us/Parks/ArborLodge.htm <
> [CategoryNode] |
