2008-10-06: RussellSenior stopped by to unplug the long-beaconing-but-otherwise-disconnected access point in the ceiling. There was some confusion by the management about what got unplugged, but from kismet, it was pretty clear that what I unplugged was the PERSONALTELCO.NET access point, not the AnchorFree acccess point they replaced us with. I reassured them of that over the phone. --RussellSenior
2007-02: RussellSenior responds to a request to reconfigure node after an ISP change. Formerly a Qwest customer, currently an Integra customer. Needed to take box off-site to "break in to it" to install ssh keys to allow administration. Nucab is now behind a routing DSL modem, with ports 22, 161 and 5280 forwarded. Store network is behind a neighboring router.
