=== Maintenance and System Log === * 2010-12-02: After about a month-long outage due to a switch in ISPs, configured and plugged into a new Integra service (5Mbps down/1.5Mbps up). Crazily, Integra provided a /30 network, which gives us exactly one usable IP address while consuming 4 addresses. I have no idea wtf they were thinking. Anyway, it's configured and working. DNS is currently pointing at 4.2.2.2. --RussellSenior * 2009-07-30: Dropped in a AlixCab after ongoing complaints about drops. We were intending to replace the box anyway, so this just accelerated things. When I arrived, from my laptop I was able to associate with an AP but did not get DHCP. I contacted Security and they got me into the locked utility room where our NuCab was located. I replaced the NuCab with the AlixCab, rerouted a few power cables (wasn't room for the ac adapter) and it was back in business. I was able to connect to at least one of the AP's. === Notes === |
