=== Maintenance and System Log ===

 * 2007-06-26: an old version 1 wrt54g access point stopped working, apparently due to a failing ac adapter. Replaced with an OpenWrt flashed Buffalo WHRG54S in an access-point only configuration. The LAN and WAN ports are all bridged together, and dnsmasq is turned off. Also configured the nucab to allow access for the Buffalo through the captive portal (at the end of /usr/share/nocatauth/gateway/bin/initialize.fw). Nucab remains in place as before here, but the Buffalo could be converted to replace it if necessary or desirable. --RussellSenior
 * 2007-04-20: responding to outage, access point had its cat5 inserted in the WAN port erroneously during a /var-filled-up incident. Corrected and WAN port taped over with a brief injunction against a repetition. --RussellSenior
