Introduction to the PTP logo process

We are currently trying to decide on a OurLogo for PersonalTelco (the one there now is my favorite so far). If you have one please upload it here. Currently we have several submisions, once we have a few more we'll have a vote and take it from there.

My opinions on OurLogo (which there is no real reason to listen to) is that it should be simple (one or two colors), shouldn't be specific to Portland and should be capable of being repurposed (ie. tshirts, hats, BannerAds, buttons etc).

Revisions to Logo 10

In the draft sections below the logos will be proposed variations of Logo 10. I'll place logos here based on comments that I get from the email list. The attemps below are concentrating on getting the words around the logo to work. Logo 10 is now in the LogoArchive along with previous Drafts.

If you notice a difference in the red color, it is my error. The bright red is RGB and the dull red is CYMK. If you know about printing you know the difference. If we print our logo we will use the CYMK red. Of course it will not look like the red on your monitor unless you have it color tuned with a gamma color profile that will let you see it correctly. For now let's concentrate on the logo content. Then we can pick the color. The final logo does not have to be red and black. I'm using these colors because they show graphic elements well.

Draft 5 of the PTP logo The living dead, 115 gets a second chance. (sorry I bounced it before it's time)

This draft will be the last one before the 05/01 meeting. Adam has created a [http://www.personaltelco.net/vote/ page] for voting on the logo.

Draft 3 of the PTP logo (no life lines and your final answer is wrong, Bye Bye)

These logos are all in PNG format. The larg images are at 72 ppi. If they were to be printed or silkscreened a higher resolution file would be created. The large version will print on a single page. Fonts are listed in ()
