These are subjective levels given by the memeber on each of the catagories.

  • Master - Uber Confident, Much Practiced, Watch the Fu Fly
  • Apt - Confident, Practiced, Still working on Fu
  • Student - Learning Stage, More Practice , Mentored (either going to PTPu or other)
  • Dabbler - Smattering of Knowing, Not Much Practice
  • Newbe - Begining of the Journey

The broad catagories are

  • Hardware - Can build a box from parts, can install NICs , can set up APs and Antennas
  • Linux - Can install a Debian base system and turn it into a PTP node complete with monitoring tools and the like
  • Networking - Understands TCP/IP, Routing, NoCat, and who it all realted to the PTPnet.

  • PTP - Knows the workings of the PTP as a group, the mangment setup, how to go out and pitch a node, who to contact, and where to go inside and outside of the PTP to get tasks done.
  • Schmooz - A combo of ability to interface with others, manage projects that get done, inspire others and lead the charge.
