Roll Call: DonPark, CalebPhillips, RussellSenior, AaronBaer, TroyJaqua, TomHiggins, DawnHiggins, SeveralChildren

Agenda

  • The mast is already installed. We need folks to climb up and put the tenna(s) on it
  • reconnect to ad-hoc OLSR network
  • eat food and drink beer (bbq will be fired up)

Ready Gear

  • A Netgear 634u with an N connector loaded up with openwgt and olsrd
  • A Linksys WRT loaded with OpenWrt

  • 3 20ft lengths of lmr400
  • A dish+feedhorn, a 12db omni, a 7db omni

Notes

  • TomHiggins provided beer and foodage which we drank and ate (thanks Tom!)

  • AaronBaer showed off his new-ish baby.

  • AaronBaer talked about his new bike, of which everyone is jealous. Aaron seemed kind of excited about it, for some reason.

  • We attempted to test some components on the ground, but ultimately decided that testing is boring
  • Once we were good and saucy, CalebPhillips and TroyJaqua climbed around on the roof and raised the antenna mast and triple-play antenna

  • The rest watched from the ground in awe of our antenna raising greatness
  • Once it was dark, and the antennae were raised, we scattered
  • DonPark, CalebPhillips and RussellSenior checked out the sunken rose garden on Ainsworth on our way home.
