Agenda
- Pick location for next weekly
- Review second monthly Municipal Broadband PDX event
- lots of fun with manual typewriters
- good speakers
New server for PTP, granted a Dell PowerEdge R720 (dual 8-core)
- Russell ordered a set of drive trays sufficient to fully populate
- populated with 16GB of ECC RAM, maybe buy more, use to replace purple?
- Open Networking Summit in LA, March 26-29. Russell requested and got a diversity scholarship: I said I was a volunteer non-profit person, which sounds diverse in the context of that conference, but need to cover my travel costs to go (~$500 flight and a place to stay). Maybe too big a lift for what it's worth.
- Node notes:
waiting on BenjaminFoote for node/host name, with which Russell will flash a Netgear WNDR3800 for use as a node;
- provided three flashed MR24s in exchange for three newly acquired ones;
- provided images and build artifacts for an AP and two clients.
