Agenda

  • Next weekly will be at the Multnomah County budget hearing, to ask for funding a Municipal Broadband feasibility study
  • Node notes:
    • NodeKellogg -- problems solved, problems returned, Stephouse notified.

    • NodeLutz -- new point-of-sale system, Russell called in to help troubleshoot (and restore operation after new Meraki MX64 seemingly knocked Comcast modem's DHCP server for a loop)

  • DNS servers diversified (added slave servers from Michael Rasmussen and Paul Heinlein), still need to add some glue records for {ns1,ns2}.personaltelco.net
  • IRS 990 status?
  • Russell reports on Union Bank status
  • Upcoming TA3M talk announced
  • Upcoming Digital Inclusion Summit (5/10) at PNCA
  • Upcoming participation in Teardown event at PNCA
  • Upcoming talk on millimeter wave in lieu of a weekly meeting (6/13) https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/172633

  • Futel was gifted some more Netgear WGT634U (4 already, 2 more + 2 repaired to be delivered soon, for +6 net), we had given them mostly devices with no radio, because we didn't think they needed radios in most applications, however a demonstration installation at PNCA Teardown needs a wireless WAN connection. Russell spent some time on Sunday prepping devices.
