- Node Notes:
NodePrinceton -- initial flash had a bug in the hand-curated modifications to the files overlay, which lead to the pre-auths for a tenant not working. When I corrected this manually, in some kind of weird coincidence, the DHCP server on the upstream Stephouse/WiLine router stopped offering leases and I lost remote access. Took a couple hours to figure out what was going on and to adopt a static configuration. Should be on the lookout for this kind of failure at other Stephouse networks (already have a static configuration at NodeKellogg as well)
NodeWeidler -- update to the WDR3600-16M device didn't "come back up". Investigating at about 4:15 am, discovered the flash had gone fine, but the cable modem was not handing out DHCP lease (maybe a macaddr change??), power cycled the cable modem and it started working again. Possibly freaked out the residents upstairs. Left before the police arrived. -- RussellSenior
