New server grant from FreeGeek has landed, a Dell R630
Dell R630 is one of the apparently supported targets for LinuxBoot
- Takes 2.5-inch drives:
- Jason donated 4 drives
- Russell bought some small (146GB), inexpensive (~$50 for three), but new 6Gbps SAS drives from the Bezoid
- Somewhere, Russell thinks he has some 4TB 2.5-inch drives, but has not found them yet
- Russell gradually clearing some working space in the basement
- HAMWan call starts at 7pm
- to determine - what goals, what does HAMWan want help with.
issues - using which Mikrotik devices? Can OpenWrt boot? Can PTP assist with networking? Monitoring?
