Agenda

  • Pick location for next weekly
  • Node notes:
    • NodeSuzette -- MatthewKlug noticed that Suzette has closed, someone else is moving into the space

    • NodeMississippi -- we are seeing trouble with the Bullet AC (our link to the rest of the network) is rebooting ... not sure why, but we should investigate.

    • NodeEdison -- got an email from the property manager for a tenant who indicated their wifi was out for a couple days, Russell checked, didn't see anything obviously wrong, rebooted the APs, sent some emails.

    • NodeSmart -- some problems reported, station Meraki is offline.

    • NodeSherrett -- noticed the ERX flash problem *again*, built an up-to-date replacement firmware and flashed it.

  • We have been approached to help with building networks for "people in small home villages" ... not a lot of detail yet.
  • Nominations for BoardOfDirectors are open

  • To vote at the AnnualMembersMeeting2022, you must become a member by the MeetingJuly2022

Notes

  • Node notes:
    • NodeSherrett - Russell reflashed, had not previously been reflashed for this issue, but also concern as to whether debugging option was included

    • NodeSuzette - Moving to cart, now Daily Fuel, possible carryover before we try to recover hw?

    • NodeMississippi - issue with Bullet AC rebooting, had tested cable with new tester, so is this an Bullet issue or PoE issue?

      • Russell tried a delayed power cycle, which did not seem to make a difference
    • NodeEdison - Tenant that has had an issue before, both laptop and phone, likely in basement apartment which has a weak connection to external AP

      • all clients connected to one 2.4 GHz AP. Russell cycled others (but not gateway AP), then the one they were connected to.
      • however the issue was the gateway AP WDR3600, which Russell later rebooted
    • NodeSmart - has been having issues for 2 weeks, believes there is an issue with the MR24, connecting to the Buffalo upstream. Matt's net has no public connections and less than 1Mb utilization.

  • WilfredPinfold - contacted Russell to provide connectivity to small home villages
