  • NodeMississippi -- we continue to see diurnal uptime from bullet-ac, also see an outage on the unifi-ac-mesh on the commons roof. Before making a trip:

    • want to try fresh firmware on the bullet-ac (which requires setting one up in the testbed);
    • need to arrange for access to the Commons building.

• See if we can replace the RB493G with a WDR3600 gateway at NodeLuckyLabSW

• Russell reports on nftables work, discovered that dynamic, automated rule removal is awkward, either need to fish a handle out of stdout or flush and rebuild, otherwise some progress towards understanding.

• Node notes:

  • NodeLuckyLabSW - Russell replaced MikroTik with WDR3600

  • NodeMississippi - Two issues one is to try to power-cycle the unifi-ac-mesh, when we have access to the commons

    • The second issue is we need to have a visual of the cable on the bullet-ac, and ideally access to test both ends and possibly have a replacement bullet-ac ready to go to swap in.
      • No clear indication of which is a/the issue from remote diagnosis
• Russell has made progress on where and how to implement portions of nftables, nocat auth is still expected to be a lot of work to shim
• Next week's meeting will be on Jitsi
