  • NodeAlhambra - Russell has had many adventures with new hardware, archiving images, OpenWRT support for Netgear

    • Documentation review and updates to help Wilf build an image for MR24
    • Provided Russell has success with images, will work with Wilf on deployment

  • NodeMississippi - Need to connect with Aaron, likely cable issue, but still unknown

• Kernel hackers meetups happening again in Portland, LuckyLabNW first Wednesdays?
• Municipal Broadband PDX meeting - update from Sarah at the County and Rebecca.
  • Asked government folks what org could do to help them out
  • Bill to support federal funds for rural networks (independent districts, similar to water/electricity), but died in the legislature
  • Citizen's Utility Board - open position for policy person
  • Jennifer Redmond - filled position Russell applied for at the city - should invite her to next Municipal Broadband PDX meeting
  • Russell suggested outreach to partners post feasibility study + discuss getting bill back in front of legislature
  • Oregon Broadband Office charged with creating state rules for receiving federal dollars, not likely to be done by August 10, so they will continue brainstorming (next Wednesday)
