  • NodeEcotrust - needs new PoE injector in first floor electrical closet

  • NodePrinceton - Russell visited after gateway became unreachable as well, tried rebooting including WiLine gear.

    • Contacted WiLine who confirmed the connection was dropped by Carl (NodeEdison and NodeKellogg still WiLine).

    • If permanently down we should collect our gear.

  • NodeKailash - Ole ready to start working on Anapurna, wants 10 MR24s + PoE adapters ($43 for 5), Zyxel PoE switch (8 ethernet, 2sfp) may be an option depending on layout

• Ordered 4 Linksys E8450s (in bulk as E8454, reduced price), covers possible pending hardware discontinuation, possible use inside

  • Floyd's building is historic Norton House, owned by Melvin Mark, 2 story, white neoprene roof, external ladder connects to skybridge
    • Wasn't clear if line of site was there, as surveyed from building next door, but seems like it should, talk with Andy (maint.) about running cables
  • Discussed characteristics of person that would help operate the network (Linux command line knowledge)
  • FreeGeek/Juan - Russell and Ted met with, then wrote up requirements and sent to Juan (who thought this was entry-level staffing)
    • There are short online Linux intros 40 minute Youtube and Ubuntu docs, challenge with use of "vi" editor on devices
  • Hardware budget requested (again), some uncertainties about what went in the grant agreement
