  • NodeAnnapurna -- node host requests we procure suitable managed switches, one for each building, have commenced to do so.

• ARPA Grant update:
  • Visit to CCC roof, looks great, nice view, easy access to roof, good line-of-sight to Street Roots
  • Going to need to get liability protection instrument, waiting on requirements
  • Ted and Russell started brainstorming job requirements for taking over from us

• OpenWisp discussion/demo/investigation

  • OpenWISP tutorial slides have been distributed to email list. Pointer to Demo system also distributed.
  • Ted may or may not have a working version on a laptop that we could poke at.

• Node notes:

  • NodeAnnapurna - suggest 24 port over 16 port to allow expansion/failure, cost bump for the additional ports is ~$10

• Russell went to PCEF grant information session - suggested remote application option
• ARPA grant
  • discussion about paying us for education component, they would like to distribute some of the money elsewhere

  • Central City Concern has good line of sight to NodeStreetRoots, may be able to see a corner of the Pittock roof, too

• This is our last meeting of the year, we'll pick up again January 3rd.
