Notes

* Russell's neighbor on NE 24th had a down fiber run (intact, but cut due to on the street) * Node notes

  • NodeFirstUnitarian - able to be connected to over mesh, Russell intentionally disconnected the ether interface - it has power.

  • NodeMockingbird - San Diego, interested in placing in theatre/co-working deployment, with custom splash page for marketing

    • Russell pointed to HW for purchase, + ship from Portland
  • NodeLuckyLab - came back, unknown issue

  • NodeSmart - upstream node down

* ERX firmware rebuild is failing, possibly due to size? * Ubiquiti 32MB devices are too small to host our image any longer, Russell looked for XW/64MB gear on Ebay but didn't find any * PO Box renewal - will run card on file (Union bank, will not succeed) * ARPA Grant - no update, Russell not pushing them

  • Had a $400K disbursment from grant - gave some to Street Roots so we could tap that for our planning

* EFF - Russell, Chris Vines and Jennifer Redmond met - pledge (as non-partisan non-profits, advance purpose of org, candidates can adopt pledge language)

  • local orientation - talking points hit: "the head", "the heart" and "the wallet"
    • MBPDX - push to registered candidates this Summer

* FuTel - we are accepting a $1K grant at our PO Box
