  • Visited a friend's cabin on Ten Mile Lake, south of Reedsport, where she gets decent internet access from a fixed wireless link across the lake.
  • Drove by Beacon Broadband vehicles and offices on US-101, a fiber network run by electrical coop Coos-Curry Electrical Co-op
