Some people would like wireless MiniPci cards for their laptops. As there currently aren't all that many places to get them I'm listing them as I learn where to find them.

i belive that some manufacturers use mini-pci cards for their build in wireless (in laptops). if anyone finds a mini-pci lucent card w/ external antenna jack, lemme know --ForrestEnglish
Orinoco's MiniPci card is apparently available only to OEMs. Dell uses it in their laptops, however, and I belive you can order it directly from them. Looking on their website, the TrueMobile 1150 MiniPci card is available as a laptop upgrade for $76.50. It would appear that it can be ordered seperately too. --AndrewTipton
Cisco also makes a MiniPCI 802.11 card based on their 350 series.

The part number from the card is MPI-350 air-mpi350-g0-a-k9
It has 2 ultra miniature SMT U.FL type connectors (male) on it. Most newer Dell laptops are pre wired with one or two antennas, you will just need a small (female) pig tail.
