Notes
2013-01-26: Updated firmware to r35318 with linux kernel version 3.7.4 and IPv6 --RussellSenior
2010-11-17: Responding to a report of problems, took a new access point (an Accton MR3201A in a simple bridge configuration) and replaced the Buffalo with it. It looks like perhaps someone reset the Buffalo after it began having other problems (it was using stock Buffalo firmware). We'll do a post-mortem on it. Back up now, we should add the AP (which has OpenWrt on it) to nagios. --RussellSenior
2009-12-30: DonPark and I replaced the old NuCab "zeus" with an AlixCab "hades". Had a little initial difficulty because I had accidentally configured the Alix as a WGT634U and the interface names were wrong. Oops! Diagnosed with a serial console, fixed manually, rebooted into happiness. --RussellSenior
2008-07-01: Employees here are interested in getting more range to share the network. Perhaps we can find a better antenna, or even another device, to spread it more to the west of the building. One employee lives across the street and would like to be able to use it.
2007-04-12: Apparently dead AP, replaced by a Buffalo WHR-G54S with stock firmware, could do the OpenWrt thing at some point. --RussellSenior
2006-06-05: Responding to a sick-node report, fixed up DNS configuration to not point at slyness.org. OpenVPN was disabled during diagnosis. If someone wants it restarted, please look at /etc/default/openvpn. --RussellSenior
2006-01-03: Upgraded to all the latest goodies, installed and configured OLSR. Could use a reboot to take advantage of the updated kernel. (- KeeganQuinn)
