RussellSenior arrived to find Don and Tamarack at the top of MtTabor, in the spot that has the open view to the west. Russell was able to connect (intermittently) to the NodeHawthorne from his laptop's builtin antenna, well enough for Don to ssh in, but not well enough to load Google.
- We were able to see downtown buildings, including the Ondine, which is where Tamarack works. We are hoping to get permission for access on that roof.
We could also "sort of" see CouncilCrest. Decided to check out CouncilCrest, so we piled into Tamarack's car and headed off, following Russell's vague directions. The view of MtTabor from CouncilCrest was not so hot. There is one spot that has line-of-sight to our MtTabor location, but near trees in the fresnel zone might attenuate the signal somewhat. The idea would be to tunnel from seattle to NodeHawthorne, hop to MtTabor, hop to {Ondine|CouncilCrest}.
Tamarack returns weary travellers to MtTabor and leaves for rendez-vous with girl friend, while the weary travellers have a tasty meal of delicious TacoDelMar burritos.
