NodeBitHouse -- the node (nip) which had been AWOL since Mar 29, 2022 20:09:13 reappeared on Nov 8, 2025 19:11:57. It was down for a few days and then came back online Dec 31, 2025 17:15:29. Russell noticed it was back in the evening of Jan 2, 2026, and built it a new firmware and flashed it remotely. Based on wifi scans of nearby networks and wigle.net's database, it appears to still be in the old Bit House Saloon location, which I believe is now called "Swan Dive" or something. Maybe we've found our next meeting location?
NodeKlickitat -- a couple outages at JohnMorrison's house. First due to kernel panic being sent to /sys/fs/pstore/, and the presence of a file there causes the router to boot into recovery. It happened earlier in December and again New Years Day, probably needs a new firmware? Also, observed 100Mbps speeds to the roof. Checked the ethernet end where it goes into the E8450 and it looked faded and suspect, so Russell nipped off the end and crimped on a new tip, which seems to have stabilized the connection. No flaps since I got done fiddling with it.
