Maintenance and System Log
2012-11-19: Flashed new firmware, r34240 with customized images --RussellSenior
2011-05-26: Flashed new firmware using batman-adv for inter-nodal communications rather than WDS, otherwise should function as before. --RussellSenior
- 2010-10-15: New node gear plugged in. Additional work of mounting the repeater to the wall is pending. For now, the enclosure is ziptied to an iron railing. Brian indicated he would return with appropriate mounting equipment this weekend (or soon anyway). PTP supplied a 6-foot length of outdoor cat5.
2003-10-04: Original node claimed its address allocation on NetworkAddressAllocations
Notes
In order to implement the WDS link, substantial deviations were made to the normal AcctonCab configurations. Ask RussellSenior for details. Note also, the two devices are *NOT* interchangable. Each one is configured for its particular role.
