Maintenance and System Log
2007-05-14: stopped and checked on the node today... seemed to work just fine, node hosts happy. --RussellSenior
2009-01-08: Stopped by and checked on the node again. There is no nucab here, just a bare AP. Still working. --RussellSenior
2012-08-01: Stopped by after a report the node was out. I was surprised to learn it was working at all. Last time I was there and tried to install a WgtCab, I was thwarted by what appeared to be an upstream static ipaddr and or macaddr lock. Efforts to contact saw.net were not successful. There is a switch with three connections, which I assume are:
- saw.net
I tried connecting another WgtCab today, with the same result. Waiting to hear from CityClub's IT dude and or Tom Bechtell, the Pittock building manager. CityClub contact said they'd be willing to buy a new AP. --RussellSenior
- 2013-02-27: Stopped by again, no evidence of personal telco present. There was a City Club open wifi network, with a splash page. The ip addr was 199.223.125.91, which is a Stephouse address. I guess they got fixed up and don't need us anymore. Anyway, glad it worked out for them.
