A SectorAntenna typically has a wide horizontal beamwidth and a fairly narrow vertical beamwidth, resulting in a fairly directional signal. This type of antenna can often be found in 60-, 90-, 120- and 180-degree horizontal beamwidths.
Sometimes, they are used in groups; for example, four 90-degree sectors or three 120-degree sectors can be combined to create a total 360 degrees of coverage, when positioned properly. That type of configuration is often used by cellular phone towers.
