Agenda
- Pick location for next weekly
- Node notes:
NodeSuzette -- came back online at around 16:14:30 on Feb 24
NodeKlickitat -- noting signal strength from the further roof-to-roof link, the next few weeks might be the ideal time to do a pre-leaves re-alignment, it is showing about 20 dB worse signal (-60 dBm vs -40 dBm) compared to the nearer roof.
NodeLionsEye -- last contact was 2022-02-28 15:07, maybe needs a visit to investigate/repair.
NodeBrelin -- visited today, recovered the APU that had been on indefinite loan, so that has returned to the inventory
Russell made a run to FreeGeek today to unload two 8-core machines, old iris, which had served us well, was the original box at Stephouse, donated by Intel, originally set up by JasonMcArthur. Russell neglected to take some other, even older server boxes to FreeGeek (oops). Storage was stripped first, but memory went with the boxes.
WiLine visit needed to replace hard disk
- Continued discussions with a potential host, some stuff to slog through, but might be worth it in the end

Notes
- Node notes:
NodeSuzette - came back last Thursday with no intervention on our part
NodeLionsEye - Out since Monday
NodeBrelin - Russell picked up unused APU1, replaced with Ubiquiti
NodeKlickitat - need to reaim antennas in the next few weeks
Russell returned a couple of old PTP hosts to FreeGeek, minus the storage
WiLine - still needs a hard disk visit
- Continued discussion with MESD about hosting
- want to have approved deployment that we can tell others about
- if this doesn't work out, Eric Harrison may know other locations
- Municipal Broadband PDX met with Multnomah County last night
- commissioners believe infrastructure exists everywhere already
- should be entitled to see $ from CTC study spreadsheets, but would still be NDA
- no federal grants in Multnomah, due to considered "served" by existing monopoly
- Community Connectivity Committee - local cities, MESD, others still discussion options
- Multnomah County applied for Federal Broadband funding for rural corners of county, chose Wave and did not end up getting the grant (due to Starlink?)
- Oregon Broadband Committee will judge applications for grants
