Agenda
- Pick location for next weekly
- Node notes:
- replaced some ethernet cables with white equivalents, including one slimrun
- removed ONT, stuffed most of the fiber service drop into the wall
- noted the absence of the indoor WDR3600 which had been acting as the node hosts indoor AP
- gateway was on, but no ethernet link detected
- traced ethernet into office and reseated the connector, which restored WAN
- node host noted that one of the rooftop devices was tipped over or otherwise not looking right
- was shown the easy method of getting on the roof
Russell suggested the right thing to do on the roof would be to replace the SkyPilots with a different device, possibly a unifi-ac-mesh
- node host contacted, requested to check ethernet
- found it had come unplugged due to faulty non-positive click on insertion, need to replace
- unifi-ac-mesh on Mississippi Commons roof is operating, but ethernet between the rocket-m5 and the unifi-ac-mesh is not showing link
- need to get into wiring closet to check (possibly the switch disappeared or failed?)
- a replacement AP is ready to go in to apartment at neighboring building, but having trouble scheduling a rendezvous

Notes
- Node notes:
NodeSherrett - Ted and Russell visited, wanted better looking ethernet (replace red/orange w/white), reconfigured from pppoe to dhcp, wdr3600 has gone away - possibly went with comcast tech (is now using Comcast for inside WIFI and enet to TV).
NodeBeulahLand - Outage since November, but we did not get a complaint. Followed cable to office, replugged into gateway. One of the roof devices is not visible, neither seem to be online? We would want to replace both devices with a newer external AP.
NodeMississippi - Bullet ethernet was loose, replugged but no click. Need to replace that tip. Commons roof feeds into switch to route traffic back to other roof device. Not sure if switch is gone or some other topology is an issue (that we are forgetting).
NodeFirstUnitarian - No contact from apartment tentant, or schedule has not worked for network replacement.
- PDX Privacy - Russell met with Hector on Tuesday. Presentation before city council resolution on February 1st. City staff should do an inventory of current programs and city bureaus would need to audit programs. Industry person that will be involved in review is Wilf.
- Ted now has his pin for the PTP bank card
- Ted and Russell built firmware for an PC engines APU2 as router for glow, flashed SD card, installed in APU2, powered up, console in with screen /dev/ttyUSB0 115200, checked configuration. Seems to work.
- Next week's meeting is on Jitsi, monthly is at LuckyLabNW.
