Agenda
- Node notes:
NodeGriswold -- another pstore outage, which is where kernel panic stack traces land and can be recovered on a reboot, however, presence of data in the pstore causes the reboot to go into "recovery mode" which does not provide the normal functionality, which is needed at the node. Russell subsequently reverted to an older firmware version until the source of the panic is better understood.
NodeKlickitat -- another E8450 outage (mary-mesh) was considered as a possible similar kernel panic, but upon investigation, the device had been unplugged allow the outlet to be used for a cooling device during the heatwave.
NodeLuckyLab -- need to visit at a meeting (or other time) to address AP2.
NodeKellogg -- got an email from the witch at the property managers asking us to decommission the wifi network we have there, due to complaints about attracting homeless. it is common to speculate that open wifi is why people might hang out nearby, but the nexus is just surmise. another reason might be that there is no residential property across the street and that makes for an attractive place to park rvs and such. The only user at the moment that Russell checked was a roku (tenant?). Turned off the wifi at the gateway and each of two APs for now.
Upcoming AnnualMembersMeeting2026 on the last Wednesday of July. The membership will be electing two members of the BoardOfDirectors.
- Oregon SOS: renewed our corporation registration with the Secretary of State, $50 from checking account.

Notes
- Node notes:
NodeGriswold - firmware reverted, but unknown issue with kernel panic, and interest in trying to recover, too. Also looked into making pstore a kernel module.
NodeLuckyLab - Russell will visit, replace MR24, maybe test cable.
NodeKellogg - Russell disabled WIFI. If we do need to remove the gear, the van can't be up against the box on the wall.
- Russell has nominated Ted, Ted has nominated Russell
- Corporate renewal has been completed.
- City neglected to transfer $1.6M to MHCRC, will audit that it has now been transferred.
- Still need to cut a check to Karl/FuTel and fix accounting (as it is for others labor).
Weekly meetings: cancel 7/8, 7/22, 7/15 one of NodeLuckyLab, NodeGooseHollow, or RoseCityBookPub
CommunityBroadbandPDX at MississippiStreetFair 7/11
