Wi-Fi is the easy to say and remember name for the IEEE 802.11b wireless networking standard. This is the standard that the PersonalTelco group has choosen to use for their WirelessNetworking project. The WirelessEthernetCompatibilityAlliance maintains a list of Wi-Fi products that are WiFiCertified.
