PersonalTelco is a fairly informal group of volunteers so there is no official way to contact us. However there are several methods by which you should be able to reach someone fairly easily.

Non Profit Organization

  • PersonalTelco has recently aquired NonProfit status in the State of Oregon and is waiting for approval of our 501(c)(3) federal tax exempt status. The officers of the corporation are:

  • AdamShand - President

  • LucasSheehan - Secretary

  • MicaelCodanti - Treasurer

    • The members of our advisory board has yet to be determined.

The Mailing List

  • We run several fairly lively MailingLists. By reading the archives and asking questions there you should be able to get most of your questions answered.

The Monthly Meetings

  • Every month we try and get together for some face time at our MonthlyMeeting. They are informal events, anyone interested in learning more or helping out is welcome to come and ask questions. We do try to keep the MeetingAgenda up to date so people can come informed and with some idea of what to expect.

The are normally held on the last Wednesday of each month but occasionally vary due to room availability. Times are announced on the FrontPage and MonthlyMeeting page as soon as we have confirmed times and dates.

The Weekly Meetings

  • Most weeks there is a small meeting of core members. We get together to work on problems that need to be solved. If you are just looking for help getting started your best bet is the MailingList but if you're looking to get seriously involved this is the best way to meet the team. Meetings are normally announced on the [http://lists.personaltelco.net/mailman/listinfo/setup setup list] a couple days before they happen.

Our Press Kit

  • If you are a member of the press and are interested in obtaining a PressKit we are working on putting one together. If you are willing to share what sort of information you'd like to see in such a thing we'd love to hear about it.

Contributing

  • PersonalTelco is a community-based initiative entirely reliant on volunteer participation and contributions. If you have time, resources, skills, equipment or anything else to bring to the cause, or if you would just like to know more about how you can make community wireless networking a reality, please visit the GetInvolved page.

The Web Site

  • This is wiki site for a reason. If you are trying to reach a specific person you can find their home page and leave them a message there.

Home Pages

  • If all else fails you can find contact information and get a feel for who is involved in the project by looking through everyone's [CategoryHomepage homepage].

If all else fails there are several other people who are fairly actively involved in building WirelessCommunities in Portland that you might wish to contact directly.

Another way is to leave a note on the MessageBoard, and someone will notice the change and reply to your thoughts if appropriate.
