'''Chi AP''' - (This is the smaller end user box) * Expected retail: about $300 (with: 32meg RAM, 4meg Flash) * Expected ship date is January/early February * Dimensions about 4" x 5" * CPU will likely be a 166Mhz moto 8241 * Can have 32MB, 64MB or 128MB of RAM without changing the footprint * Can have 4MB, 8MB and 16MB of non-removeable Flash without changing the footprint * Supports one radio * Unnamed radio vendor based on Prism 2.5 chipset (65mW output, 87dBm rx sensitivity) * Only supports AP mode (not bridging) Mini PCI radios have two hirosi antenna connectors (for diversity) and will be possibly adapted to reverse SMC. There is the possibility for units to be shipped with N-type connectors but it's still being sorted out. |
