  • EFA proposal concerned with large social media platforms and content take-down

    • Had repeater 2' x 3x 120 degree
    • Could use ARDN (OpenWRT based) seemed to be good, too, but connect to Seattle group via Mikrotik
    • Seattle HamWAN interested in control of net/devices/upstream
  • Network over amateur radio has restrictions to:
    • Cleartext
    • No commercial
    • Believe authentication can be passed encrypted
    • No active packet scanning or rule enforcement, has been entrusted to licensing of end users
  • Ted mentioned PTP to people in Multnomah Village planning an ADU, no power until later, likely CenturyLink fiber

  • Russell threatened to buy and take apart Calix, sales people put Russell on the NDA path
  • End of month is deadline for city to do grants for ie Municipal Broadband, but maybe January?

  • Desire is contracted/invoiced for a March start of evaluation
