HauteLine is a wireless protocol developed by HauteSpot Networks for streaming video, audio and low latency industrial automation applications. It is unique in that it has very little overhead, uses management header data rather than management frames, and support IP multicast. It is generally used for point to point links, but can also be used in point to multipoint for broadcasting video from a single source. It is not 802.11, but can coexist in unlicensed bands with 802.11. It is ODFM based and is only available on HauteSpot HauteRoute wireless routers and bridges.
