Notes
Next week's meeting is the Hack Night at NodeKeegan
MaxOgden demoed the performance of the CenturyLink Gigabit connection, with both RussellSenior and TedBrunner testing performance as well.
- It looks like much of the current peering for upstream is either Seattle or bay area.
- We reviewed the physical plant install and DMARC as well as pole connections
- It sounds like there is demand for more new connections as Max mentioned that the installer had 16 pending installations.
- Max mentioned that he hopes to deploy a large storage pool at the location for integration with other similar global pools.
Visited the Tidbit cart pod and discussed futures for similar last mile connectivity (CenturyLink, Google) as well as past muni considerations and deployments.
- Max mentioned interest in a point-to-point wireless link with a similar node in inner SE.
Node Notes: One of the VZA nodes had an issue with a user deploying a repeater that needed to have RussellSenior blacklist the MAC, then restart all of APs.
