Windows File and Print sharing over WiFi can sometimes be confusing.
- I had my AP providing IP addresses via DHCP, below my DSL router which was also serving IPs via DHCP. The wired PCs were all getting their IPs from the DSL router, and my laptop was getting it through the AP, so they were on different network segments and couldn't see each other. When I turned off DHCP on the AP, my laptop just grabbed an IP from the DSL router, they were on the same network, and voila, windows file and print sharing over the network.
