• Annual Members Meeting

  • Election of one member of the BoardOfDirectors

• Regular Monthly Meeting:
  • Node updates are nearly done (only three APUs are left, plus any offline devices) includes:
    • new ssh hostkeys,
    • new OpenVPN keys and CA infrastructure,
    • new root passwords and /etc/shadow hash.
    • TP Link WDR3600 in some cases, e.g. with a private network and filtering rules, runs completely out of space on flash, solved by removing some unused psutils-ng applets from build configuration
    • Worth noting that nodes that are offline will (probably) not be able be remotely reachable after the old CA key expires on August 3rd, if they come back up.
    • Node customizations - script to capture some customizations and replay on upgrade.
      • ie ptp-passwords.default script
  • Interserver VPN links need updating for expiring CA key too, but luckily they aren't hiding behind firewalls.
  • Node notes:

    • NodeCedarHillsCrossing -- DSL modem was replaced, but we had a different outage, appears to be a power delivery problem inside the mall, we couldn't reach either of the Buffalo WZR600DHP access points since noon-ish on Monday. Resolved Wednesday morning, when scissor lift was able to confirm the power to the ledge outlets was off, and the power was restored.

    • NodePotatoChampion still needs router to be returned and plugged in.

    • NodeEcotrust got its upstairs AP plugged back in, cable had fallen out of the PoE injector.

    • NodeLuckyLab -- will try to replace the APs with Meraki MR24's at the meeting.

    • NodeBeulahLand -- seems alix is okay, but roof is not reachable?

    • NodeLikewise -- needs a replacement MR24 and/or power supply

    • NodeMoby -- we are planning to add a Ubiquiti Nano Loco M2 and a long ethernet run to improve upstairs coverage.

    • new VZA node coming in St Johns, meeting at the site next Monday.

  • PKI updates have been rolled out as well as node updates to all online nodes (except APUs) offline unavailable Aug 3
    • Root CA offline, sub-CA on Russell's build host
    • New root password and hash
    • New per-host ssh host keys
    • TP Link WDR3600 - 8MB flash, hot plug scripts and filtering rules were leaving 200K free

  • NodeMoby - moved node closer to stairs, still week connectivity to Alexa

    • Needs Ubiquiti Loco on garage run outside, point at kitchen

  • NodeBillyRays - Node renamed to conform to 4-letter standard

  • New VZA node - Carl Vanderzanden (part owner, manager of others) - N. Edison
    • Two separate buildings, two stories high, but only 8 total units
  • List of offline nodes, and Russell contacted Max Orhai about node as well
• Digital Inclusion meeting - should reconnect
• Russell contacted Steve Novick via Facebook, no response so far
